AI On a Budget IS Possible — And Vital!

If an entrepreneur is not at least thinking about implementing artificial intelligence (AI) they will soon be looking to leave the entrepreneurial ranks soon. Implementing AI is almost as important as a business buying computers — it will be absolutely essential to a company’s success going forward. No doubt.

That all said, it is scary implementing AI. After all, it seems expensive and few people really know what it is. Ah, lets define it. AI can be described as a computer being adaptive and learning from past experience, potentially like a human processes thoughts, calculations, etc — but much quicker.

There are, indeed, benefits to implementing AI. As the Harvard Business Review reports, companies that use AI for sales have increased their leads by more than 50 percent, achieved cost reductions of between 40 and 60 percent, and increased the number of sales leads they receive by more than 50 percent. According to the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF), and the US Department of Commerce’s Office of Science, a company that uses AI in sales has increased its sales and sales by “more than 50%,” achieving cost reductions of up to 40–60%, according to the report. Instead of undertaking a major infrastructure overhaul, small businesses can use smart technology applications with artificial intelligence on a budget. Software and service providers offer AI-ready solutions that enable small businesses to use AI in their business. New York-based WorkFusion, for example, helps companies integrate AI tools into existing workflows using WorkFlow, a free download that provides enterprise-scale automation and does not require coding.

At its most basic level an item available in the AI world for starters are chatbots, also sometimes called webots. A good vendor for these is MobilMonkey.com. Heck, it is so easy to implement AI and chatbots even we at www.VastSolutionsGroup.com are in the process of launching a formal web/chatbot to help with sales and customer service. These will help lower tax liability and increase retirement savings for entrepreneurs. Fortunately, there is a lot of information for developers, programmers, and non programmers that allows you to easily implement chatbots and AI.

Artificial intelligence (AI) encompasses everything from chatbots to data analytics systems, helping companies around the world create personalized, sales-oriented experiences for consumers and business customers. Salesforce.com is another vendor making it relatively easy for entrepreneurs to adopt AI. It offers a wide range of AI solutions for small businesses, from customer service to marketing and sales. Another is OptinMonster which is a lead generation resource that provides high-quality, cost-effective lead management and analysis solutions and comes at a price for small businesses. Sources: 0, 2

These are but a few solutions. Artificial intelligence (AI) is becoming an integral part of the daily lives of businesses and it is therefore the right time to take advantage of the myriad new opportunities that are opening up. Unless, that is, an entrepreneur wants to leave the entrepreneurial world!
